HAWAII BIG GAME FISHING CLUB GENERAL RULES and QUALIFYING REGULATIONS
- Must be a current member of Hawaii Big Game Fishing Club.
- The Four Flags Annual Fishing Tournament is now considered a regularly scheduled club tournament.
- The Four Flags Annual Fishing Tournament will operate on an annual basis, January 1 - December 31.
- To be eligible for annual awards in the Four Flags Annual Fishing Tournament, the angler must have registered PRIOR TO START FISHING regardless of the time of year they register.
- All fish catches to be eligible for prizes or annual awards, must be in the hands of the club tournament director, OR POST MARKED within (7) days of the date of catch. You must fill out the Catch Record completely.
- All fish catches, (unless otherwise specified), must be in accordance with IGFA rules and regulations.
- The weight of all fish catches, (to be eligible for the FOUR FLAG FISH categories), must be equal to or exceed the weight of the line used in the catch.
- All TAG & RELEASE FORMS submitted for recording with the club tournament director, must be accompanied by the TAG & RELEASE NUMBER in order to be eligible.
- All world record claim forms, (entered for prizes or annual awards), must be accompanied by a copy of the world record application form.
CLUB TOURNAMENT FISHING AND TEAM TOURNAMENT FISHING OUTSIDE THE STATE OF HAWAII
NOTE: The word "TEAM" as defined: "Any number from, 1 to 6 ANGLERS who comprise a team representing a club, company, business etc".
The above defined "ANGLERS" must be current members of the HBGFC in order to compete in any of the HBGFC fishing tournaments.
If you wish to represent HBGFC.(when fishing in foreign or out of state tournaments), all competing team members must be current members of HBGFC. The club will be happy to supply a letter of representation if it is required.
