Aloha! Welcome to the Hawaii Big Game Fishing Club website.
The Hawaii Big Game Fishing Club (HBGFC), with its proud tradition of continually setting World Records, is one of the oldest fishing clubs in the USA, chartered in 1909. HBGFC's membership is approximately 300.
HBGFC's headquarters originally was in Honolulu, but was later moved to Kona, Hawaii, which is known for its big fish and calm water. We invite you to come visit our unique clubhouse and community center in Honokohau Harbor.
HBGFC's membership enjoys a busy schedule throughout the year, which includes five fishing club tournaments, plus a special Juniors' Tournament for kids 8 to 17 years of age, the annual "Rock 'n Reel Hawaiian Open" tournament and the Annual Awards Banquet.
All of these functions are totally supported by the generous donations and volunteer help of club members and community.
