Charitable Programs the Club Supports
We have established important, strategic partnerships under our Conservation and Charitable Programs mandate. We hosted the 501(c)3 Keiki Come First kids fishing tournament in 2019, at our Club House. The Club sponsored the prize for their fledgling Tag and Release Division, after Club members helped them design a format that would work for their keiki anglers and small boat skippers. The Club was also able to write a check as a cash contribution to the Charitable beneficiary of the Keiki Come First Tournament - Hugs for Hawaii. https://www.hugshawaii.org/
We also hosted the Love to Fish Tournament at our Club House, which is put on and benefits Hospice of Kona. https://hospiceofkona.org/
Club members also helped them get started with a Tag and Release division, and again sponsored the prize for the winner. The Club was also able to write a check to Hospice of Kona, furthering our contributions to Charitable causes.
